Taktvätten
A real-time job app for a roof-cleaning crew
Taktvätten is a Swedish roof-cleaning company. The office and a crew of ten were running their week over calls and messages, so we designed and built them one app instead: the office posts and assigns jobs, the crew takes, starts and reports them from the roof, and the office reviews and approves — everyone looking at the same job list and the same chat, live.
It installs as a PWA from Safari or Chrome and is packaged for Android and iOS with Capacitor, all from one codebase. Behind it sits a single Cloudflare Worker with a SQLite-backed Durable Object; live updates travel over a hibernating WebSocket, so ten phones can keep the app open all day inside the free tier.
Access is by invitation only, with a personal account for the office and every crew member. A week view, job reports with checklist, photos and materials, a group chat with read receipts, and an admin screen for managing the team round it out.
